The Nomads Shrine Club was organized in 1976 and meets on call at various locations.
The Nomads Shrine Club is family oriented for Nobles and their Ladies, who own a recreation vehicle; i.e., motor home, trailer, cab-over or pop-up camper. The club meets on call, usually once a month, at various camp locations.
They have an extended annual outing that last two to four weeks and often covers much of the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Beyond having good fellowship and fun while on their various outings, their goal is to collect donations for the Nomad Caravan Hospital Fund. The Nomad Hospital Caravan fund is used to purchase equipment for the Northern California Unit of Shriners Hospitals.
As well as accepting donations throughout the year, an annual “Hospital Caravan” is held where they tour throughout Asiya Shriners jurisdiction to collect food and donations for the Shrines Hospital in Sacramento.
